Managing Customers & Jobs
Customer accounts, the appointments table, and change orders — the work that happens around appointments, not inside them.
Customer accounts
A customer account is the long-lived record that holds everything tied to a customer: their people, their addresses, their appointments, and their change orders. One account can carry many appointments over years; the account is how Bidvio remembers a customer between visits, and it's the unit you reach for when a returning customer calls.
Articles in this section cover creating customer accounts, editing the people and addresses on them, and managing accounts as they evolve.
Appointment versions
Every save of an appointment is preserved as a version. Versions are the audit trail — what changed and when — and the path to roll an appointment back to an earlier state when something goes sideways.
